Gombe Development, People’s Interests My Top Priorities – Gwamna

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Gwamna, popularly known as Sardaunan Gombe, has reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the development of the state and the welfare of its people.
According to a statement by his media aide, Ibrahim Sani Shawai, while Speaking during an engagement with party members, stakeholders, and residents of the state, Gwamna said his aspiration is rooted in responsibility, humility, and dedication to the collective progress of Gombe State.
According to him, his “Gombe First” vision represents a commitment to placing the interests of the people above every other consideration.
“Gombe First is not just a slogan; it is a commitment to place the interests of Gombe people above all. It means Gombe first in development, unity, and opportunity for all,” he stated.
The APC flagbearer assured citizens that his administration, if elected, would be inclusive and people-centered, with equal opportunities for all irrespective of background, gender, or social status.
He pledged to build a government where every citizen has a sense of belonging and a role in governance.
Gwamna also extended an olive branch to fellow aspirants within the party, describing them as partners in the collective effort to move Gombe State forward.
“We all share a common goal, the development of Gombe State. I extend my hand of partnership to all aspirants. Together, we are stronger,” he added.
The governorship candidate further commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as remarkable achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and other critical sectors.
He noted that his administration would focus on consolidating the gains already achieved while accelerating development across key sectors including youth empowerment and human capital development.
Gwamna also pledged alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying it would help strengthen economic growth, create employment opportunities, and improve living standards in the state.
The APC candidate promised responsive leadership that listens to the people and delivers tangible results.
He called on residents of the state to embrace unity and support purposeful leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“This is our moment to choose unity over division, progress over politics, and leadership that truly works for the people,” he said.
He urged citizens to join hands in building what he described as a stronger, united, and more prosperous Gombe State.
