Dr Dunijir Gatama Bags Sardaunan Matasan Reme Title

The District Head of Reme in Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State has conferred the traditional title of Sardaunan Matasan Reme on prominent youth leader and politician, Dr Dunijir Gatama, in recognition of his contributions to youth empowerment and community development.

The conferment has been widely applauded by residents, community leaders and associates, who described the honour as a fitting recognition of Dr Gatama’s dedication to public service and grassroots development.

They noted that over the years, Dr Gatama has distinguished himself through initiatives aimed at supporting education, mentoring young people and promoting opportunities for economic empowerment across communities in Gombe South.

According to community members, his accessibility, humility and commitment to addressing the needs of ordinary people have earned him respect and admiration beyond his immediate constituency.

They added that the title reflects the confidence reposed in him by the traditional institution and the people of Reme, expressing optimism that the recognition would inspire him to further champion programmes that promote unity, progress and youth development.

The well-wishers also prayed for wisdom, good health and divine guidance for Dr Gatama as he assumes the responsibilities associated with his new traditional title.
